DECEMBER BLOOD DONOR DRIVE

 

The December/summer holiday is a bad period for the South African National Blood Service (SANBS).

 

There is typically an increase in demand for blood, due to a higher accident rate on our roads. There is also far less blood donated during this period, due to most people being on holiday.

We wanted to avoid the usual scare tactics and guilt trips. Being the festive period, we instead chose to give people some more light-hearted reasons to take a little time out of their holiday to donate.
